Neha’s brush with gritty roles

In a bid to avoid being typecast, the stunning Neha Dhupia is making a conscious choice to pick serious roles. In her forthcoming project, 'Pappu Can’t Dance Saala', she will be taking on the challenge of playing a back row dancer.

To prepare for her role, Neha did extensive research on back row dancers by meeting and interacting with them personally. She has coloured her hair red and has picked up the habit of constantly chewing on gum to make her role more realistic. Vinay Pathak, her co-star in the movie, even failed to recognize Neha new look, dismissing her for a back row dancer on the set. It was only when Neha spoke up that he realized who she was.
